Enniscoe has a Victorian walled garden, organic walled garden and 19th century pleasure grounds that extend to the shore of Lough Conn lake.

Enniscoe Gardens and Pleasure Grounds were first opened to the public in 1999.They were restored under the Great Gardens of Ireland Programme.

The walled garden dates from the 18th century but has been restored to the late 19th century layout.

History

The early gardens were laid out by the Jackson family. In 1834 Madelaine Jackson, the heiress, married her cousin Mervyn Pratt. The Pratt family continued developing the gardens and estate up to 1950. Enniscoe is now owned and managed by direct descendants of the Jacksons and Pratts.
