Deere-Wiman Garden

Gardenvisit Editorial

The house was built in 1872 by Charles Deere, son of John Deere of plough and tractor fame. The original 'Swiss Villa' burnt down and was replaced by a more classical building. The Victorian Mixed Style garden survives, with fountains, terraces, herbaceous perennials and a rose garden.
