Centre de la Nature de Laval

The site was once a quarry and has been made into a large urban park. The founder was Mr. Maurice Blain, who wished to establish a nature center. It has a nature reserve and has sporting facilities but ornamental horticulture has always been one of the aims and there is a range of theme gardens.
