An Elizabethan Hall (by Robert Smithson) with a twentieth cenetury garden. The house is surrounded by lawns and clipped yews. In 1990 the walled kitchen garden was laid out with a maze, colour theme gardens, herbaceous borders and a 'jungle garden' of bamboos and exotics.
