Open House
The House is open for general visitors, 1st August to 1st September and for groups by prior appointment.

Parking
Parking on grass is available in the grounds adjacent to the House with disabled and coach parking in the historic stableyard.

Disabled Access
No admission charge is made for wheelchair borne visitors and their assistant. Whilst most of the House and its facilities are accessible, a full tour of the House can include 72 steps. There is the opportunity to view rooms, which may prove to be inaccessible, by visiting our interactive virtual tour in the computer suite in the Gift Shop. The walled kitchen garden includes a newly completed sensory garden An Access toilet is available in the stableyard

Shopping
The Gift Shop (including Plant Sales) is open throughout August and by request.

Restaurant
The Restaurant is available throughout the year for pre booked parties (meals must also be ordered in advance) For general visitors 1st August - 1st September, 1pm - 5pm

Light Refreshments
The restaurant serves light lunches and afternoon teas August 1st - September 1st. Afternooon tea is availabe from the gift shop on Sundays and BH Mondays, 1st May to 31st July

Picnic Area
A picnic area is available adjacent to the stable yard on the Dower House lawn

Pets
Dogs on leads are welcomed within the Park, but NOT the Gardens or House. Restraint should be excercised to avoid distrubing livestock.

Sunday 28th February "Sense of Spring" Enjoy a Guided Walk through the Wilderness and the Private Gardens, 11am -1pm Includes delicious homemade soup and a roll £12.50 per person Wednesday 7th April "Easter Egg Hunt" Family fun event with lots of activities. 10.30am - 2pm Restaurant open for lunch and refreshments. Adults £6.00, Children £2.00, Family (2+2) £14.00 Sunday 18th April “Orpheus” Public Launch of the inspirational new landscape feature 2pm- 4.30pm A glass of wine on arrival, tea, coffee & Landscape Booklet £22.50 per person

Walks
Guided walks are available every Thursday 3.15pm - 4.45pm, May 1st - September 1st. Arrangements for guided walks for groups at other times can be made by contacting the Trust Office.
