A large botanic garden in the estate of Bouchou castle, part of which dates from the 14th century. The garden has a 19th century landscape park with several follies and, of course, a very large botanical collection. The greenhouse, originally designed for the Brussels Zoo, was designed by, Alphonse Balat.

The above comment is correct! The Nationale Plantentuin van Belgiƫ is a mixture of everything with nothing done very well. But this is Belgium. What more could one expect?
