John James Audubon the famous ornithologist, is believed to have done many of his drawings of Florida birds in Audubon House garden. It was built in 1820 by Captain John Huling Geiger, a harbor pilot and master wrecker. The gardens have brick paths, orchids bromeliads, native plants and herbs.
