It is simply a fabulous garden, just lovely to wander around in a slow manner to take in the garden's flowers,art work,and enjoy the peace of a magical experience.

I have just returned home from a holiday on Lake Garda July 2011. My best day of the holiday was a visit to the Botanic Garden, it was a haven of peace,colour, a dash of humour, wonderful plants, I particularly loved the water elements and the bamboos. There was so much to take in it was a magical experience. I am already planning a return visit next year I cant wait;

The best garden I have visited so far! The garden is located in the town center of the small hamlet of Gardone Riviera, on the beautiful and all year round warm shores of lake garda, which is a pearl of Italian beauty and cozyness itself. Andre' Heller took the already valuable original botanical garden and transformed it into a gem where nature meets modern and ethnic art. The result is simply astonishing, unlike anything else this garden presents a surprise around every corner, a bewilderment of all senses that brings you in a dreamlike environment where everything can happen, and fantasy is a touch away. If fairies ever exist, they would certainly dwell here.

Italia does not have so many good botanical gardens. This one is so good. I will try to find my photographs and send them for the website.
