So close to Nature could one be in our gardens or in making them, that an interesting experiment is now being made, so far with a measure of success, in a lunatic asylum in the suburb of Tokyo, as a form of occupational therapeutics, employing only the lunatics, numbering as many as one hundred at a time, in making in a flat piece of ground a landscape garden of Nippon style with a big lake and a high island in it.
