The Landscape Guide

Camley Street Natural Park

Camley Street Natural Park was made on waste land surrounded by industrial fragments. It was designed to have swamps, woodlands, shrub areas and field vegetation for nature study. It is much visited by parties of school children.

Community gardens do not receive nearly as much official support as they deserve but some of them flourish. See also: Meanwhile Gardens, Calthorpe Project.
