This section of the website contains policy recommendations aimed at decision-makers in national and local government. Additional policy statements are invited. The policy statements below were drafted by specialist members of the Landscape Instute in 1995 at the request of the President of the Landscape Institute (Alan Tate) and under the editorship of Tom Turner. They were submitted to the Technical Committee of Landscape Instititute which decided not to proceed with their publication.
