The profusion of Nile cruise boats at Luxor have destroyed the ancient tranquility of the waterside. It looks and smells like the port of Athens (Piraeus) on a bad day at the height of the summer tourist rush. Possible solutions are:
keep the moorings south of Luxor Temple
supply the boats with electric power from the shore-based generators when they have docked
