Visiting seasons

The best time for visiting UK gardens varies from year to year and according to latitude (Spring is about 3 weeks later in Edinburgh than in London). The following times are, therefore, no more than indicative:

  • Snowdrops: early February
  • Daffodils: end March
  • Bluebells: end April
  • Roses: May-June
  • Herbaceous perennials : June-October
  • Autumn colour: October
