Camillo Sitte said the ratio of\u00a0 height:width of a city square should range between <strong>1:1<\/strong> and <strong>1:2<\/strong>. Is this relevant to buildings near London&#8217;s river? The Shard is 306m high and the Thames at London Bridge 265 metres wide. This gives us a ratio of\u00a0 <strong>1:1.5<\/strong>. The Shard is\u00a0 150m from the river.
