{"id":936,"date":"2009-04-04T05:50:53","date_gmt":"2009-04-04T05:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gardenvisit.com\/blog\/?p=936"},"modified":"2009-04-04T05:50:53","modified_gmt":"2009-04-04T05:50:53","slug":"world-garden-finder-facts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardenvisit.com\/blog\/world-garden-finder-facts\/","title":{"rendered":"World Garden Finder Facts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In March 2009 the Gardenvisit.com World Garden Finder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>was ten years old<\/li>\n<li>contained 2,486 gardens in 61 countries<\/li>\n<li>had aerial photographs and maps showing the location of every garden<\/li>\n<li>included 3,500 images<\/li>\n<li>included a variety of User Generated Comment: images, reviews, ratings and Head Gardener&#8217;s Comment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But we want to make it better!\u00a0 Please help us &#8211; with reviews, ratings, photographs and descriptions.<\/p>\n<p>The original idea for the garden finder was to provide links to gardens from my online book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gardenvisit.com\/history_theory\/library_online_ebooks\/tom_turner_english_garden_design\">English garden design: history, philosophy and styles since 1650<\/a>. [This book also appeared in print, in 1986 and is due to be revised and re-published].
