In reply to Christine. Yes, I have had a little skin trouble and become very cautious. Singapore has the reputation of being one of the best run cities/countries in the world but suffers a little from authoritarianism, excessive competition in everyday life and a lack of human kindness.

From a health perspective (as Australia is the skin cancer capital) it is not something we would usually recommend in a tropical climate. So choose your hours wisely – early morning and late afternoon around the pool would be best.

The design of the skygarden with the infinity pool with such spectacular views is so seductive that it is hard to focus the mind on criticism of how the development might fit within the broader urban context. (I am really wanting to go for a swim there!)

Perhaps having experienced this building and the wonders of a garden so high in the sky perhaps my critical faculties might kick in?
