It is ‘garden as a stage’ in the real sense: built into the rugged Cornish coastline with the Atlantic ocean providing the dramatic backdrop, the amphitheatre has many garden elements including lawn seating, garden figures molded into the seating and the whole space is punctunated by areas of pocket planting.

It’s creator has found the place’s genius locii and further amplified it to great effect.
