The Gardenvisit.com website was first published in 1998 as an information resource for UK garden visitors. Coverage has been expanded to include most countries with a heritage of public gardens to visit. For each country, the aim is to provide an authoritative source of information on garden design history and a comprehensive Garden Finder list of gardens open for visits by members of the public. For the reasons explained above the coverage has been further enlarged to include garden property (primary homes, second homes and hotels).
