Princes Street, Edinburgh, Scotland

The design of Princes Street was part of James Craig's brilliant 1776 landscape design for the layout of Edinburgh New Town. It was conceived as a one-sided terrace, like Royal Crescent in Bath and the Nash Terraces which enclose Regent's Park in London.
