Hatshepsut�s temple is the most ancient masterpiece of western landscape architecture. Her temple and its setting are one. The temple was known as Djeser-Djeseru 'Holiest of the Holy' to the Ancient Egyptians and is now known as Deir el-Bahri, 'Monastery
