Beautiful Gardens with a wealth of Rhododendrons Magnolias. Acers. Azaleas, and Meconopsis (The Blue Poppy). Our Hardy Plant Nursery at 1000 feet in the Pennines offers possibly the best selection of Rhododendrons in the North West of England.
Specialities
Rhododendron. Magnolias, Acers, Meconopsis,
(Blue Poppies) and rare trees shrubs and climbers such as: Embothrium, Lapagia Rosea,
Desfontainia Spinosa, Betula Jaq GreysWood Ghost and many more choice plants.
Opening times We find that visitors always find some treasures often not listed but we do not have the time to do mail order.

Dunge Valley Gardens are absolutely beautiful, especially in May and June.
Probably best not to take children or the infirm as some of the banks are quite steep, but it really is like a little bit of Himalayan jungle in the Pennines!(5.0/5)
