The Little Cloister at Westminster Abbey can be seen as part of a visit to the Abbey. It is pleasant to find such a quiet and intimate space in the City of Westminster. The Little Cloister was formerly at the heart of the monastic infirmary. Visually, it is far more attractive than the large cloister. It is closed to general public, as a cloister garden should be, and it is a spiritually calm space. The central fountain and the current design date from 1871.
