Little Venice

'Little Venice' is the meeting point of Regent's Canal with the Grand Junction Canal. Several streets of white stucco houses were built in the 1860s round the canal basin designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It has become an exclusive residential area, popular for its landscape architectural integration of water, vegetation, landform, house boats and buildings. With so much water in London it is amazing that there so few successes of this type.
