This 'plaza' adjoins the Barlays Bank HQ on the Isle of Dogs. Staff complained that even if it was not going to be empty for ever they would rather not have to look down on a blank expanse of concrete. The Canary Wharf management commissioned Rick Rowbotham of Urban Red Ltd to design this colourful op-art plaza.
