Drottningholm Palace Garden 

‘Drottningholm Palace Garden was also made by King Gustavus and is on an island of the same name. Drottningholm Palace is on Lovön Island in the Stockholm archipelago. Queen Hedwig Eleonora established a formal garden in the 1640s, inspired by French and Dutch styles. Under Queen Maria Eleonora (1680-1714), the gardens became more Baroque. Queen Lovisa Ulrika (1751-1771) introduced a shift towards a naturalistic 'English' landscape garden with winding paths, open spaces, and natural features like groves and water features.
