Ty Mawr Country Hotel

Recently refurbished, Ty Mawr (meaning "Big House") is a fifteenth century building in the secluded village of Brechfa (meaning "motled place") and on the edge of the beautiful Brechfa Forest. The River Marlais runs along the bottom of the garden. The hotel has its own 2.5 barrel microbrewery. Gardens to visit while staying at Ty Mawr Country Hotel include the National Botanic Garden of Wales (10 miles), Aberglasney Gardens (13 miles) and Cae Hir Gardens (17 miles).
