Ashford Castle Hotel

Ashford Castle was originally built in the thirteenth century but the orginal building has been considerably extended and rebuilt. The hotel has a magnificent setting on the shores of Lough Corrib, Ireland's second largest lake. The estate is 350 acres and once belonged to the Guiness family.
