Cambridge University Botanic Garden » A nineteenth century botanic garden which also has a role as a role as a public garden, with a lake, a stream and rock gardens. There are systematic beds used for teaching purposes and a twentieth century garden with native vegetation. The botanic garden holds 9 National Collections. Wimpole Hall Garden
Wimpole Hall Garden » Like Stowe, Wimpole Hall evolved from a geometrical design into a landscape park. The old design is thought to have been the work of London and Wise. It was illustrated by Kip and Knyff and then developed by Charles Bridgeman. Capability Brown transformed it into a serpentine park with an tree belt and three lakes.
