The Visitor Centre’s licensed restaurant provides an ever-changing menu of good home-cooked meals using locally-sourced ingredients, including where possible those from West Dean Gardens.
Light refreshments are available.

Guide dogs only and all dogs allowed on the parkland and arboretum walk if they are leashed at all times.

A circular 2 ½ mile walk through the St Roche’s arboretum which encompasses a fine collection of specimen trees and shrubs. The walk offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Sussex Downs and of the flint Mansion of West Dean College, an internationally renowned centre of study of traditional arts, crafts, writing, gardening and music, in its parkland setting.
