Welcome to our garden, open may & sept by arrangement and June-August(wed-sun & bank hols).
We'd love to see you here, and as I work here through the week I'd be delighted to answer any questions you have about our collection of herbaceous perennials and shrubs. Or maybe exchange ideas on veg and fruit growing.
On Sundays, why not have a cuppa at the steaming kettle teahouse and watch "steam up" in the engine room.
Lodge park walled garden was built in 1777 to provide the Irish Palladian House with flowers, fruit and vegetables, and produce is still grown for the house today. Restoration was carried out in 1948 and again in 1980.

I visited this garden in early June. It's divided into several "rooms" as can be seen on the map on their website. It was fantastic and the Rose Garden was a particular favourite. They have a beautiful website which carries lots of clear, concise information including a map which was easy to download. The Lodge Park Walled Garden is an absolute gem!
