Parties / Large Groups
Yes, we welcome pre-booked parties of 12 or more (our maximum is 60 - or 100 in 2 groups) Undercover shelter is not available for very large groups in the event of rain.

National Garden Scheme Days
We open regularly for the National Gardens Scheme (and have just received our 20 year commemorative trowel). Dates are advertised in the Yellow Book.

Parking
Coaches and cars may park on the grass verge in the lane above the cottage.

Disabled Access
Disabled visitors are welcome to sit in the Garden Room and enjoy the view and birds. There are ample seats around the garden, but it is not suitable for wheelchair users because of a gravel path and gentle slopes.

Shopping
Snape Cottage Garden is the home of SNAPE STAKES Iron Plant Supports. They are on sale in the small shop, along with beautiful colour cards of the unusual plants and wildlife in the garden. A choice range of plants propagated from the garden is for sale.

Light Refreshments
Home Made Cakes, Tea/Coffee and Biscuits are available on Garden Open Days. Occasional Clotted Cream Teas. Clotted Cream Teas are served to pre-booked groups

Picnic Area
Individuals and Groups are welcome to picnic in the garden by prior arrangement

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome at the discretion of the owners
