    The house contains a fine collection of art and effects. See website.

  • Parking

    Yes, follow the car park signs.

  • Disabled Access

    Not all areas are easily accessible as the castle was designed a long time ago, but every effort has been made to accommadate less able visitors. The garden contains some steep slopes and uneven, slippery surfaces from time to time. Most of the paths are level though, and alternative routes are in place around the castle itself.

    Yes, well stocked including the estates own (and very good) wine.

  • Restaurant

    Yes, meals and snacks are available.

  • Light Refreshments

    Yes, and some local produce.

  • Picnic Area

    Seats are dotted around the gardens, along with litter bins. Picnicers are most welcome, but are asked to not use the area immediately around our own restaurant.

  • Pets

    Yes dogs are welcome on leads only, and any fouling must be cleaned up, bagged and deposited in a litter bin.
