A university garden with a series of terraces linked by a flight of steps as its central feature. The terraces lead into display gardens with noted collections of iris, azalea and bulbs. An Asiatic Arboretum was begun in 1989. There is also a garden of plants native to the Southeast - the H. L. Blomquist Garden of Native Plants.
