There is a 400 space FREE car park next to the entrance to the gardens including Blue Badge disabled spaces and parent and child parking. There is also a sign posted coach park along Crag Lane past the Garden entrance
Our staff wil be pleased to assist visitors with any disabilities. Car parking spaces for Blue Badge holders are located near the Garden entrance Free wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available, booking is advisable as numbers are limited. A garden map is available with suggested wheelchair routes and there are disabled toilets and access ramps. Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms is fully accessible, as are the RHS Shop & Plant Centre. Although Harlow Carr is on a sloping site, there are plenty of benches around the garden Only Guide and Registered Support Dogs are allowed in the Garden
Harlow Carr has the largest Gardening Bookshop in the North and an extensive Plant Centre full of exciting and unusual plants, with expert advice on hand. All hardy plants come with the RHS 2-year guarentee and many plants found in the Garden are avaiable to purchase. The shop features exclusive RHS ranges, design -led china and glass, stationary, toys and many locally sourced foods
An established Yorkshire favorite, Bettys is full of tasty treats for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Please note that Bettys can be very busy and you may need to queue, however there is also a Tea House in the Garden serving sandwiches, soup, cakes and drinks in the main season. There are plenty of benches around the garden where you are welcome to picnic
