Nitobe Memorial Garden

  • Parking

    There is a parkade located across from the Garden enterance. Some street parking is available along Marine Drive.

  • Disabled Access

    Major pathways are accessible, but several of the bridges in the Garden are not.

  • Shopping

    There is a Shop In The Garden at the UBC Botanical Garden located 2 kilometers down the road.

  • Light Refreshments

    Traditional Tea Ceremonies are held throughout the summer months. Please call the gatehouse for reservation information: 604.822.6038.

  • Special Events

    The Annual Cherry Blossom viewing is held each year in mid April. Please check our website for event date and detailes: www.nitobe.org

  • Walks

    Yes. There is a self-guided tour, or for a small rental fee ($2.00) you can access the Audio Guide tour. Please call our main Gatehouse if you wish to arrange a tour of the Garden with one of our well-trained Friends of the Garden (FoG's): 604.822.4208.
