Fabulous place! But you have to make an appointment to get in, so make sure you do so before you visit the Brandywine region. It's one of several outstanding gardens in this area, all of them once the estates of members of the du Pont family. Mt. Cuba is the most natural of them all, with a strong emphasis on native plants of the region. For anyone interested in naturalistic gardens, Mt. Cuba should be at the top of your list.
