An eighteenth century folly (by Thomas Wright of Durham, c1770) with a late-twentieth century garden. The garden has a lime avenue, a mount, an obelisk, hornbeam allees, two thatched arbours, a shell grotto and a rose garden designed by Vernon Russell-Smith in 1989.

Opening times - May to September. Monday and Thursday. Also open last Sunday of the month (May to September). Open 2pm to 6pm.
