Leo Mol Sculpture Garden

Gardenvisit Editorial

Dr Mol was born in the Ukraine and emigrated to Canada with his wife in 1948 and settled in Winnipeg in 1954. He wanted to keep his personal collection of his work together and donated it to the people of Winnipeg. The garden was created to display his bronze sculptures in Assiniboine Park and opened in 1992. There is a lily pond and small indoor gallery which is only open during the summer.
