Certainly interesting....some evidence of Sissinghurst ideas near the house. Intriguing treatments of hedging profiles..as one who doesnt like grasses 'en masse' I struggled with a lot of the rest of the place.
I liked the use of water but felt it warranted more to give the garden....more presence.

(3.0/5)Small but perfectly formed. Each area of the garden has its own character, with the former vegetable garden being a particular highlight. It is almost impossible to believe that this delightful place has been achieved in 15 years, it looks as if it has been there for ever. Very clever planting combinations and use of box hedging which pulls the structure together without dominating. I visited in late May 2011, and despite a very dry spring the plants were all very healthy. The owners also have an extensive range of plants for sale.

(5.0/5)The most original planting and fabulous plantsmanship. Cutting edge design and horticultural ability are not always bedfellows, but this garden knocks your socks off. The owners are on hand to talk plants (and sell them in their nursery) including some grasses of their own. Absolutely first rate.
