Gardenvisit Editorial

The buildings were modelled on an Italian Villa and the garden drew inspiration from Pliny's garden letters. The garden buildings are conceived and located in the landscape manner, forming a contribution to the wider Potsdam landscape, with which Lenné was involved.

The Glienicke estate offers lovely grounds, meadows and rich foliage. At the casino wide views stretch across the Havel landscape. Approaching the park directly from the water by using the Wassertaxi from Potsdam city is very enjoyable.
