Gardenvisit Editorial

Kensington Palace Gardens is a tree-lined street which runs from Kensington High Street to Notting Hill Gate. As the maps of 1795 and 1870 show, it was built in the nineteenth century on land belonging to Kensington Palace. Formerly ‘London’s Millionaire’s Row’, this is now ‘the World’s Billionaire’s Row’, though many of the houses are in fact embassies.
