Reviews of Jodrell Bank Arboretum & Visitor Centre

We were very disappointed after visiting Jodrell Bank. Although they have a great planetarium, with a very enthusiastic orator the rest of the area was a let down. We expected to spend at least 3 hours touring the site, but this wasnt so. If you decide to visit on a rainy day you will pull up on the car park, walk to the centre, if you wish to see the planetarium you will pay an entrance fee of a couple of pounds each. You can then go to the cafe to wait until the show starts. The show lasts about 20 minutes. After this you can walk around the interesting bits for about 30 minutes and thats it. If it is a sunny day you could take a picnic etc. This would be great except if you take 3 excited kids along, they will be very very disappointed.
