The Château d'Ussé is a picturesque castle in the Valley. The terraced garden was designed by La Nôtre. If you zoom in on the satellite image on the location map below, you can see the lay out of the parterre. Some of the citrus trees were planted before the French Revolution. The chateau is believed to have been Perrault's inspiration for the castle in "Sleeping Beauty".
