Hiran Minar (Deer Tower)

The name Sheikhupura was a nickname for Prince Jahangir. The Hiran Minar was the prince's garden, in a hunting park.There is a large water tank with an octagonal pavilion at the center, a causeway to the bank and a minaret built in honour of a pet deer/antelope (Hansraj)
