    Please prebook catering for large groups by telephoning 01444 400550. The licensed tea rom and tea garden cater for groups. The licensed tea room and tea garden opens from 11.30am and serve a wide selection of delicious home-cooked food at sensible prices including lunches, cream teas, Sunday roasts, snacks and light refreshments.

  • Parking

    Yes we have parking for visitors and overflow parking.

  • Disabled Access

    The licensed tea room, tea garden and toilets are fully disabled access. Due to the natural terrain of the ground, there are some steep paths and the garden is not therefore suitable for wheelchairs. There are plenty of benches and seats throughout the gardens.

  • Restaurant

    The licensed tea room and tea garden serves a delicious selection of home cooked, freshly prepared foods including lunches, snacks, cream teas, light refreshments and Sunday lunches.

  • Light Refreshments

    High Beeches Gardens tea room and tea garden serve delicious home made food including cream teas and cakes.

  • Picnic Area

    There is a picnic area at High Beeches Gardens and visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drink.

  • Alcohol license

    The tea room and tea garden are licensed and serve a selection of alcoholic beverages.

  • Special Events

Bank Holiday Monday May 4th from 11 am, Spring Fair in aid of NCH - the Children's Charity. Cakes, jams, plants and gifts etc. Bonsai Weekend May 23, 24 and 25th. Bank Holiday Monday 25 May - gardens open from 11am. Exhibition of Chelsea Gold Medal Winning Bonsai. Demonstrations will take pplace over the three days. Bring along your own small sapling or purchase one on the day and learn how to make your own Bonsai. Most Bonsai are hardy and can live outdoors. Late June is the time to see the wildflower meadow at it's peak. Throughout the gardens more than 200 species of wildflowers have been recorded. Late June is also the time to see the National Collection of Stewartia in flower. Sunday 16 th August from 11am, Heavy horses from the Working Horses Trust will be harrowing the meadows in the traditional way. Come along from 11am and get up close to the gently giants doing the work that they love. PLants for sale and craft demonstrations - fun for all the family. Late August is the time to see the stunning blue Willow Gentians flowering throughout the glades. High Beeches Gardens is the only place in the UK where these magnificent blue plants have naturalised. Sunday 18th October, Autumn Gift Fair in aid of the Parkinson's Disease Society, from 11am A lovely selection of goods willl be on sale including cakes plants and craft items. All money raised will go to the local Horsham Branch. This group is particularly active and provides support in the community including physio at the local hospital and a community support worker. High Beeches is noted for it's autumn colour - and is one of the top half dozen gardens in the UK for autumn colour. From late September phone up for information about the best time to come as autumn colour varies from year to year.
