Headland Garden is a cliffside garden overlooking the Fowey estuary, created by the Hill family since 1974. There is a focus on Australasian species. Steps lead down to a sandy cove where visitors can swim.

History

The garden was terraced over the last 80 years to make the most of the 1 1/4 acre site, and many subtropical plants were found to flourish.

The garden was used for the setting for the film "Stolen hours" (1963) with Susan Hayward.
