This beautiful William and Mary style house was completed in 1701 by Thomas Vernon, a very successful lawyer who became wig MP for Worcestershire. Marvel at the beautiful wall paintings by Sir James Thornhill, who also painted the dome in St Pauls Cathedral, and the recently re-decorated Hercules rooms from which the stunning re-created early 18th century parterre is best viewed from.
