Go to Greys Court Garden
This is one of the most tranquil quintessentially English gardens I have visited in ages. The gardens are principally set within an ancient walled garden with a variety of delightful features. On the front lawn is a marvellous Arbutus andrachnoides with a stunning trunk and a grove of Arbutus unedo to the left.
It is not a place with aggressively stylised schemes or naff ideas better found in a flower show..it is laid back, well cared for and charming in its Englishness
