Green Animals Topiary Garden

The estate dates from 1860 and the large topiary garden was made by the gardener Joseph Carreiro (1905-1945) and his son-in-law George Mendonca. There are 80 green sculptures cut from California privet, yew, and box. It is a popular attraction, loved by children.
