Traditional Islamic patios some supported by borders of Myrtle bushes, countless fountains and water used in many differing formats, terraced gardens in an Italian style using cypress hedges such are the features of this outstanding and truly enchantinig garden.

I visited the Generalife and Alhambra in May last year and The Court of the Long Pond was my favourite. I recommend trying to get there early in the day to beat the crowds.
